Long ago, three wise men from the East—Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar—saw a bright star shining in the sky. It was so special that they decided to follow it. The star led them all the way to Bethlehem, where baby Jesus had just been born.
When they arrived, they gave Jesus three special gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. As a thank-you for their love and kindness, Jesus gave them a magical gift—the gift of eternal life. From then on, the Three Wise Men visit children all over the world once a year to bring them presents and joy.
